Cloudberry (in Finnish lakka, hilla or suomuurain) is native to alpine and tundra and boreal forrest. It is rhizomatous herb with tasty but somewhat tangy berry that is very rich with vitamin C. In Finland it is most commonly eaten with leipäjuusto, an oven baked cheese and cream or vanilla custard but also with pancakes and crepes.
